Among other things, it dictates the methods of procedure in civil actions for the whole country. They are regulated by two imperial statutes, one entitled the Civilprozessordnung, or Ordering of Civil Process, i.e., Code of Civil Procedure; and the other the Gerichtsverfassungsgesetz, or Law of Court Administration, i.e., the Judiciary Act.
