dc.description.abstract | My principal difficulty this morning has been with regard to my subject, which is, as the Chairman has stated, that of Negotiable Instruments. My trouble is with the convention that what you have to say usually must have something to do with the subject which you have selected. And it seems I would like to talk on a number of matters which perhaps you will think are unrelated to negotiable instruments. Whether I can make a plausible bridge from negotiable instruments to those matters is a question. At all events I crave your indulgence. | |
