dc.description.abstractOur rules governing the acquisition of title to chattels through accession, confusion, or specification have a civil law origin. Because of this the rules of the Roman law on the subject and those of the modern civil law are of interest to students of Anglo-American law. In the present article an attempt will be made to set forth briefly the rules of the civil law governing specification.
