dc.description.abstract	It may seem like threshing old straw to consider anew the problem of liability for emotional distress in the light of the very considerable learning that has developed around the subject. Nevertheless, it may be that further analysis and synthesis will disclose a coherence in the constantly increasing body of material that has not yet been recognized.
