dc.description.abstractThe appearance of a new edition of the official Connecticut Practice Book, containing additions to the official forms of pleading, serves to call attention anew to the difficulties involved in the statement of the cause of action under the codes. To illustrate the problem involved it seems apt to consider the manner in which a cause of action based upon the defendant's negligence must be stated.
