dc.description.abstractLEON LIPSON (1921-2005) was a member of the Yale Law School faculty from 1957 until his retirement in 1992, having been appointed the Henry R. Luce Professor of Jurisprudence in 1997. A graduate of Harvard and Harvard Law School (1950), Lipson also held a graduate degree in Slavic Languages and Literature from Harvard. His fields of interest were comparative and international law, specifically Soviet law, and the law of outer space.
