    Abstract
"Politics, before all else, is an intervention in the visible and the sayable."-Jacques Rancière, "Ten Theses on Politics".[1] "Lo político es, ante todo, una intervención en lo visible y lo decible"-Traducción nuestra "Democracy is the institution of politics as such, of politics as a paradox. Why a paradox? Because the institution of politics seems to provide an answer to the key question as to what it is that grounds the power of rule in a community. And democracy provides an answer, but it is an astonishing one: namely, that the very ground for the power of ruling is that there is no ground at all."- Jacques Rancière, "Does Democracy Mean Something?"[2] "La democracia es la institución de lo político como tal, de lo político como una paradoja.
