Abstract
In studying the question of Education for Law Librarianship three principles seem to me to be outstanding, viz : 1. There is a need for better professional training in law librarianship. 2. There is a need for an opportunity of apprenticeship in law library service. 3. If the standards of our professional training are to be raised, the initiative must come from the law librarians themselves.
