Abstract
I would like to thank the New York University School of Law and its Journal of Legislation and Public Policy for hosting this symposium. Typical of N.Y.U. events, the organizers have been uniformly helpful and efficient. I'd like to think about Rick Pildes's excellent question about the history of this pedagogy. Rick really hit the nail on the head in his comments about the rise and fall and the subsequent resurgence of the field of legislation.
