Abstract
Professor Rhode's new book invites all people seriously interested in law to think about the relationships between law and justice as they may exist in the years ahead. It is notoriously difficult to make accurate predictions of the future, especially as the rate of social change brings our futures into being with ever-increasing rapidity. As a practical matter, thinking about the future therefore is pretty well limited to extrapolating from the immediate present.
