Abstract
Gibson Kamau Kuria currently lives in the United States as apolitical exile from his homeland, Kenya. Since the development of opposition to recent changes in Kenya's constitutional and political systems, Mr. Kamau Kuria has turned his skills as a lawyer to representing those individuals designated as dissidents by Kenya's government and who consequently have been charged with sedition, detained without trial and sometimes tortured.
