Abstract
Our Constitution's Preamble proudly proclaims an aim to "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." For most Americans today, the Bill of Rights and the Fourteenth Amendment shine as clear examples of the Blessings of Liberty-sparkling jewels in freedom's crown. But how can these jewels be shared with, and passed on to, "our Posterity"? That is the subject of this Lecture.
