Abstract
AT THIS moment when the labor law of tomorrow is in suspense, it'would be well if we saw clearly the confused labor law of the generation that is ending. One great mind both watched and worked at that law the whole while that it was happening. We believe no clearer picture of it can be had than one in which Hohnies' views of what it should be, and legal consonances with them, are central, and inconsistent views and legal ways are shown with reference to them.' What is here attempted is a sketch for such a picture, without pretension to completeness. Believing that there is light in their assemblage, we shall not scruple to re-quote familiar sayings and re-state familiar cases.
