Abstract
Professor Twining is English and Oxford-trained-two points which are not entirely without significance. He came to the University of Chicago for a year's graduate study in 1957 and there fell under Llewellyn's influence. After Llewellyn's death in 1962 he organized and catalogued the immense mass of papers which Llewellyn had left.
